The Historian

The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova was our first full book club, so it holds a very special place in our hearts. It follows a young girl on a journey to uncover the truth of the past while hunting down one of the world's greatest villains: Count Dracula. This book is not only entertaining, but also teaches you a great deal of historical lore behind Dracula and the geographic areas from which he hails.

This book allows for great discussion with a book club, from discussing historical events, Dracula lore, and diving into the many types of relationships that form within the covers of this tale.  It also curates a delicious menu, including Turkish, Romanian, and Grecian inspired dishes!
