Has anyone ever suggested a book to you and you wrote it down on a paper or in your phone's notes app and then you immediately forget about it? Us too. Until we started using Goodreads!
Goodreads allows you to create virtual shelves to organize your books; read, to-be-read, or anything you want! You'll never forget the name of a book or author again! It also gives helpful ratings and reviews of books so you know if it is worth the read or not.
Listening to an audiobook is a quick way to enjoy a book while doing other tasks in you life - like driving to work, doing mind-numbing chores, and walking your infant endlessly around the house until she falls asleep!
Audible is a great company that provides access to a vast collection of audiobooks to purchase, and quite a few for free. Also, if you choose a membership you get a free credit once a month. You can also gift books to friends if you find you have extra credits!
Libby is another option for access to audiobooks, this time for free! It gives you access to free audiobooks and ebooks through your Public Library. It also allows you to put hard copies of books on hold.
All you need is to download the app and use your library membership number to sign up.
Although we much prefer to meet with you in person, we understand that not everyone can make it to our book club events here in Southwest Michigan.
